how long to get a rental at WDW

How long would it take for me to pick-up a rental car at WDW from the GF and get back to the GF again?

any ball park figures? Trying to figure out wether it is worth the savings over a car service?

You would have to call the Car Care Center, they would tell you a shuttle time for picking you up. Then, it would be however long it takes to actually rent the car at the counter (would you be doing it beforehand?) and then driving back to GF. Maybe an hour tops? Having never done it (yet!) I can't be more specific. But perhaps someone who has, will know better.
