Spoke with the guy filling in for my guide while he's on vacation today and he said we were very close to getting our BCV June UY pts. We'd probably get them in the next rotation. He also said we were locked in at the $95/per point price. I didn't ask him he just volunteered it. I hope it's true! Can't use the points for this vacation, but it will help later.

Oh Beca!!! This WAS a surprise to me, but DH really, really loves BCV and we also chatted with our DDiL while we were at BCV, and she tells us that they would love to come with us to WDW every year...that no, it wouldn't be assuming too much to say that they love to vacation there WITH US. Sooo, we figure in 3-4 years our little DGC will be ready for SAB...and yes, we would want to book at 11 months.

I do think of you when we're there...we had a marvelous 2 night vacation there this week.

They show movies on the beach at night, campfires as well, and have lots of other activities going on too.

It seems like BCV is the only resort that you have to wait for any period of time to add-on points...

I added on instantly at VWL and BWV, and current DVC members are getting notifications of points availability for BWV and other resorts.

Being a new DVC member, is this typical? Is this because some members are selling older resorts to buy at SSR and/or AKV? Does Disney usually have points so readily available for the older resorts?

Well, I hope you get your points VERY soon!! And, if your dgc are anything like my dd....they're going to love SAB!!!

I did not know anything about movies and campfires....I guess I always go when it is too cool at night for that. It would be nice to have those year-round, though.

The movies and campfire are new. Deedee, the CM, asked when I was last at BCV, (it had been a year, exactly) and she said, that we should be sure to look at the new activity sheets that she pointed out. Besides the movie and the campfire, there was soccer, Treasure Hunt, Bingo, Connect 4 Tournament, So You Think You Know Disney Trivia (prizes)...well, lots of things!

I hope they continue some of these things in the cooler months.

If you don't currently own through DVC then you need to buy resale to get into Beach Club.
