How long to add on points at sold out resort?

I checked into the DVC members web site to find that our 25 point BCV add on has come through. We were on the waitlist just a tad over a month, March UY, total 100 BCV points purchased.

I'm back and happy to see all the "Good News" happening !!

I got on the waitlist for more 30 BWV points (Apr UY). I got the email telling me there were points available, but when I called they were gone, so now I've been on the waitlist over 3 weeks and it's killing me waiting. My guide told me I had one person in front of me. I know it doesn't sound like much, but this will put me over 600 points. But I'm still secretly waiting for CRV and then it's open season for me.

Update. I got my points today. I went on the waitlist on June 20 and got them yesterday, July 20. 4 weeks. That's it for me now unless the CRV becomes a reality. 610 is my new total.

I've now done 8 add-ons to my initial contract, and all of them were immediately available. I've only had to wait once -- 3 weeks for BCV points.

Called my guide at DVC yesterday and asked for a small add-on of 30 more points at BWV. They were immediately available! This is in addition to the 30 points at VWL I did last week.

We just went on the waitlist at BCV for 160 points on 09/04/07. We will take June, August, September or October UY. Our guide wasn't able to find out how far down the waitlist we are so no idea how long it will take.

I see there hasn't been a post on this thread in quite a few weeks. Has anyone who is waiting gotten their points yet?

Nope. I am still waiting for my 75 June UY points at BCV. I was told that I'd get them in the next "go around" for June UY points when they came up. Don't know if it's true or he was just saying that to give me hope.

I feel your pain. My (100 pts.) wait was 11 months 4 days and 12 more days for my total request....

I would absolutely suggest that you get on the TSS wait list too !!! Being on both is a must for BCV points.
I got on both..(at the advice of my Disney Guide..AH, love him )...and Disney came thru first.

Also...doesn't hurt to call your guide periodically and jog his/her memory??

I see your waiting for 50 pts....make sure your guide knows you'll take 2-25's or a 20,30 pointer..etc ( you must be close to next) ??
Keeping contact with my guide I feel was important..he knew I was crazed and saw a contract for 70, called me and asked if I would take it lmao......then I waited 12 more days for the 30.
