CALL MS and "IMMEDIATELY" ask for a "supervisor" and explain this one and if you get anything other than "sorry, we were mistaken", or, an apology...pm me and I give you the supervisor's, supervisor tel #.

So do MS supervisors deal with sales questions? I can call on Monday!

I just got back from 10 "Magical" days @ WDW...now I need a vacation!!

Yes, I did call MS right at 7:59am!!!!! I didn't have a problem booking my bwv studio for five nights which surprised me because it is Easter week. Believe me, I didn't want to be there for Easter but, it happens to fall during my daughter's spring break so, we'll just have to prepare ourselves for the busiest crowds ever. I hope your BWV pts come through soon!

Surely..if existing members (Ca.) are penalized this way...then non-members, looking for thier 1st set of points, should NOT be allowed to get sold out resorts..until ALL existing members get thier add on's....right???

Anyone else know about this ???

Thank you for checking with your DVC contact. I am bummed out about the whole thing . As a member, I think I should be able to add on before others, but if CA is making the laws (as weird as they are), what can I do, move?! Hmm...does Oregon have the same problems? I have been wanting to move there for some time now...

I wanted to add on 50 points now and 50 points later. I think resale contracts for the smaller amounts are high, and plus closing costs, it puts me over my budget. I also know that the small contracts get snatched up pretty quickly too. Well, I will look for other timeshares to buy for $4750-9500 in the meantime. Maybe I'll save up for another week on Maui or wait for the DVC in CA .

Thanks again for checking. At least I've heard the same story three times now. Must be true! But there goes my dream of going to WDW every year versus every other year.

From what I can gather, Disney has to register in CA to sell a certain number of intervals or points or villas to CA residents. So in the beginning of BCV, they probably didn't register a lot of them. I am supposed to have to wait until a CA owner with a Feb UY sells his/her points and the contract gets taken by Disney under ROFR. Hmm...what are the odds of that?!

The supervisor did tell me that if I was there in person, and there happened to be any BCV points with a Feb UY, I could buy them in FL. You think we could just say I was in FL. I mean, a credit card gets run in FL anyhow. Why does it make a difference if I am physically there? It's not like they take fingerprints or anything...

I'm certainly not the person to be answering this, but, it is my understanding that :
there is a certain "lot" of sold out "units" that Californians may buy...when they become available.

This was the quote I got today (I assumed that meant up for sale by a member?? ) I dunno..but certainly a dumb thing..I'd be sick too!!
