My daughter will be two months shy of three at the time of our sailing. We would like to do an adults only excursion and leave her at Flounder's Reef. Has anyone left their child there for atleast 4 hours. Will she be starving, entertained, etc? Help!

My DS, who will be 3 this May, was reserved in Flounders for this past cruise (1/15) every evening from 6-11....I really believe the alternative, taking him to shows, shopping, and dinner in the restaurant would have been shear torturous boredom for him...In Flounders he was able to play with children his age, watch great videos, as well as nap....we took him to plutos for dinner just prior to dropping him off at Flounders, and provided snacks and sippy cups for the CMs to give him....Once he turns 3, he will be able to go to Oceaneers...

When we sailed a couple of years ago on the Wonder, our Daughter was 2 months shy of 3as well, and I convinced them to let her into the childrens programs at the Adventurers Club. She had an amazingly good time. You may want to try that if your little one is out of diapers.

I wish I could have done that with my daughter...she was 2 yeaars 9 months when we went on our cruise and was terribly bored in flounders...she stayed a little while and complained all they had were baby toys and the place was full of babies that cried! My daughter was/is old for her age so maybe it was just her but she found the things to do in there babyish, this May she is looking forward to going to the "big kids clubs"...I couldn't imagiine her finding flounders evntertaining for 5 hours a night, she loved the shows and enjoyed the dinners with us to much.

My dd went to Flounders this past 1/15 Wonder cruise from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 every night. We did bring her to the shows and she loved them...they're that good believe me if my 2 yr old can sit still for an hour, but we also had late dinning. I don't think she would have done so well at the 8:30 show. There were also a lot of 2 year olds in Flounders for our cruise which made her experience there very enjoyable. Your child will be fine and well taken care of at Flounders.
