Wondering if we can eat a late lunch and make it back to WL for dinner after a 7:00 show. How long does it last? What's a good estimate to get 'out' after? I am trying to think what time I should make a PS at WCC...

I would say, depending on where you are seated, 15-30 minutes to get out.

Thanks Dan
To clarify...when you say 15-30 minutes to 'get out'...do you mean out of MGM? Or...just the show?

I was thinking 8:30 PS for dinner, but that might be ambitious ;)

To get out of the show. I tend to be a 30 minute guy, LOL, as I tend to just sit around and talk with whomever I am with, while the mobs jam out the exits. I do that everywhere, from Wrigley Field to airplanes. :) If you are seated near the top of the seating area, I would imagine you could get out in 5 minutes. Additionally, when the boat comes by at the end, the show is pretty much over and you can be out in moments really. The exit you would take would bring you out by the MGM entrance, by the Oscar's Gas Station, make a left and you are out.

Show starts at 7, over about 7:30, out of MGM by 7:45, WL by 8:30? Hmmmmmm. Maybe, but 45 minutes at WDW is nothing, LOL. Tough call, and I hate making tough calls there. Any ideas from others?

Getting out of Fantasmic and getting to the front gate, even the way we do it (full speed and charge ahead) usually takes at least 20-25 minutes; then you have to factor in the bus and how many people will be waiting. I'd be very surprised if you would make an 8:30 PS, but I am quite often wrong.

I think that's cutting it a little close. You might make it, but you might be anxious all the way through Fantasmic making it less enjoyable. Can you get an 8:45 or 9:00 dinner ressie? I think that would be no problem, and if you get to WL early, it is a fun place to shop and browse around. Having a car might make a difference but then there's the parking/walking issue(unless you valet).
