How long from gate to car at MK?

Hi all,

We just realized that on one day of our vacation, we will most likely need to leave Magic Kingdom midday for an 11:30 appt. (we're planning on returning in the afternoon) How much time would you budget from leaving MK park gate to your car in the parking lot-- take into consideration monorail or other transit from gate to lot, and actually getting to car). We don't mind walking, and our toddler will be in a stroller.

Any help would be most appreciated!

I'd say 20 minutes on average, but plan 30 to be safe.

10 minutes is nearly impossible..if you choose the express monorail you have to consider the wait for the monorail, travel time, walking down to the parking lot, waiting for the tram, travel on the tram and then walking to your car. I would say 20 minutes at best. If you choose the ferry it will be longer as boarding and travel time is greater.

When we were just there we budgeted almost an hour to get from our hotel (10-15 min. drive) to the front gate at MK. I would leave at 10:30 to get to your 11:30 appointment.

Oh jeez I'm sorry! It was recommended to me by a friend on fb when I asked about travel times so I assumed it was used a lot. Good to know I need to re-evaluate my travel times now as well. Sorry OP!
