How long from Airport to Pop

We arrive at 6:10 pm next Wednesday. We are meeting some friends at MK, which closes at 10:00. They leave the next day, so our time with them is short.

How long does it take Magical Express to get from the airport to Pop Century? How long would it take if I reserve a luxury sedan?

I believe it takes about 30-40 minutes. I don't think a sedan is much quicker.

4:00 to 6:30 pm is a fairly busy time at MCO. If there are no storms during the earlier afternoon you may get lucky. No one really knows what kind of passenger traffic is arriving. If you are going to pick up your luggage before you go to ME, you would be better off getting a taxi or scheduling a car service. The time out to Disney would be about 35 minutes after picking up luggage with the taxi or car service. The time out for DME, if it is busy, after picking up luggage could be well over one hour, remember it is Easter vacation time.

Yesterday, about 4:30 pm, I walked thru DME and the lines were long with only two busses outside. I have a feeling that the 70 minute average, to the resorts, was stretched yesterday, but don't really know.

It usually takes about 70-90 from the time the plane lands to check-in at the hotel via ME

My two trips on ME (in September- not busy time in general) from plane landing to me being in the park (after taking ME and checking into hotel) was less than 90 minutes. POP is the first stop on ME, which is to your advantage. That being said, I wouldn't plan on more than two hours with your friends...unfortunately.

POP is not always the first stop...I've taken DME to POP three times now, and twice it was first but the last time we were the last stop. My friend took DME to AKL and they stopped at POP first and AKL last.
That being said, you should plan on at least 70 minutes from deplaning to your resort. Since time is of the essence here, I would book a towncar. That will cut down on some time...but it will still take you at least an hour, at best.....10 minutes from plane to baggage claim (assuming a potty break and since it takes a bit for the bags to get there, you may as well stop at a restroom), 15 minutes for bags to arrive, 5-10 minutes to towncar and stow the bags, and then 30 minutes to the resort. Your room should be ready, so drop your bags off, head back to the bus for MK for a quick visit with your friends.

Thanks everyone for the help. I've decided since I'm so short on time, I'm going to do the luxury sedan for $75.00. I'm hoping we'll have at least two hours in the park before closing time.
