We are comming from spokane, Wa. and was thinking about staying in Lathrop, Ca. for the night. We are wanting to do a looooooong big day the first day of driving and a short drive the second day to get to DISNEYLAND:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: so on the second day we are going to go to downtown disney to shop and eat at the jazz resturant. Is it still going to be a long drive on the second day????? The second day from Lathrop to disney is going to be on Sun. july 15. We are staying at the park vue inn right across form disney. Thanks for the help.

From Lathrop you are looking at about 6 hours or so, depending on how fast you drive and on traffic. I live about 30 miles or so farther than Lathrop and it takes us about that long.

I live in Modesto - not to far from Lathrop. It will take about 6 hrs - that also depends on LA traffic.
Have a fun trip!:goodvibes

You should be okay on a Sunday, we used to live in SCA and Sunday traffic is pretty good until early afternoons. We are now in Modesto area and usually takes 5 1/2 - 6 hours. We have a house in Spokane (rented out) hows the weather been?

Have a great trip!

The weather has finally warmed up SOME but the fog has been bad for days. You are soooo lucky that you are down there. I would be at disney ALLLL the time.
Do you guys think we should keep driving awhile farther and stay somewhere else????? Does anyone have any recomadations?????How long is it from spokane to lathrop?? Thanks for all the help

we love being close, DD and I go 3-4 times a year DH usually only for DD bday trip. when we lived in SCA we usually went every 6 weeks usually on a sunday for the day.
If you are taking I-5 down, there really isn't much after Lathrop/Stockton area. It will be a good stopping point. It takes us about 14 hours from here to Lynnwood (from there originally) so it will probably be the same from Spokane.
let me know if you have anymore questions, we are going down this weekend with friends.
