How long for points to show?

Before COVID I think the longest we waited for points to load was probably a week to ten days.But now it's like paint drying. We sold a contract this May that the points weren't taken out of our membership for about 35 days.Just sold another one in July and the points are still here.

So excited membership showed up 28/8 Checked everyday and guess what points have just shown up in account today , either loaded late yesterday or today ... let the planning commence

Calling in has worked for me to get points added. I did wait until after the 10 business days they reference in the email.

I called to get the points loaded the day after the contract showed up on my account.

Unfortunately still waiting for the contract to show up on my dashboard. New UY so that may have something to do with the delay. I received word from First American that the transaction was finalized on August 25. Not sure what the process is from there, but I haven't heard anything since.

DVC Membership administration will load the new contract into your account, under the new membership window. It took 5 weeks for mine recently, but it seems like closer to 3 or 4 now. They only have 2, maybe 3 working...rest are furloughed,

Once you see the contract, then a division of MS has to load the points once they get the info from MA. That has been taking about 10 to 15 days, unless you call and ask for it to happen faster...sometimes they can do it if you get the right CM

We had the same thing happen. Membership showed up on 8/28 and received our points later in the day this past Sunday. Once I read your post I was checking my account all day.

I closed on 8/3 and still no contract showing in my membership.

They definitely don't do things in order since I am seeing a lot of other people who closed after me getting points already.

Edited to Add: Wow--just received the email and my BCV membership number has been added!!
