How long for add on?

I just closed on a BWV resale on Friday. Do I have to wait until I am in the Disney system to add on, or can I add on as long as I have the contract number immediately?

Adding a resort signature banner prior to actual purchase is punishable by a fine not to exceed 1 million Disney Dollars or 25 years in Mickey jail.

You will need to purchase from your Guide and you won't have one until you are in the system. Give MS a call, you are probably already in.

I have a guide. Jeff J (if I can say that outloud, which I just did ) I have been looking at DVC for almost 2 years, and he is the one that has always helped me. If I had an email or question, he said that he was my guide. Anyway, once I close I should be in?

I don't think it's just closing that you have to pass. There's usually a few days that it takes until you're in the system!

You know your guide, so see what he says.

I would think that there will be many more! I am trying to keep it to add ons that I can pay off with cash within a year!

Usually, you are in the Disney system 7 to 10 days after the closing has occurred. At that time you can make your first reservation and call your guide for any add on points.
