How long does it take...

to walk from the most remote part of MK to the boat launch for WL? Will taking the railroad speed things up?

I think the farthest point in MK would be either Haunted Mansion or toontown. For ToonTOwn, I'd take the train and save some time on my feet. For Haunted Mansion, it's probably easier to walk to the enterance (you'd have to either walk to Splash Mountain or ToonTown to get the train). It would probably be faster to walk through Liberty Square to the castle then down main street, maybe takes 10 minutes. THe boat launch is right outside the gate, probably about 1-2 minutes to walk there.

getting to the launch area is one thing...getting on the boat and across is another. Allow plenty of time as the boat goes back and forth and there is a wait time. Check with your CM at the resort who can give you times the ferry crosses throughout the day. It is a relaxing, unique way to travel. Have Fun

It definately depends on wher eyou are in the park if it is faster to take the train. Train stations are located by splash mounatin and in mickey's toontown fair. Like it was said by the pp if you are not in close proximity to the train station then it will probably be faster to walk. Also if the train has just left it could be about 15 min or so until the next one. The train ride can be relaxing and good for tired feet but it depends on just how quick you need to get to the entrance.
