How long does it take to get from Polynesian to Animal kingdom lodge

From what I understand you take monorail to Magic kingdom and bus to animal kingdom and another bus to Animal kingdom lodge ?

Is this correct . rough estimate on time , better suggestions ( besides cab )

Take bus from Polynesian to Animal Kingdom and then take bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge.

You could also start by taking monorail to Magic Kingdom proper and then an AKL/Kidani bus but here there is a good walk from the MK monorail station to the MK bus platforms.

Likely time from arriving at Poly' bus or monorail platform to stepping off bus at AKL, 40 to 80 minutes.

Alternate, take the boat to MK, then walk to the AKL bus stop. None of these options require you to enter the MK in case you were wondering.
