How long does it take for you to be "approved" for financial aid?

I have to drop off my verification forms before the 21st of this month (going to drop them off tomorrow, actually), and I was wondering just how long it took for financial aid to be "approved". I'm sure I'll end up with the Stafford loans, since I think that's mainly what Valencia uses. I already booked the classes, and they need to be paid for by the 20th...but I'm not sure if the FA papers will be done in time.

Just wondering if any DISers know.

I think it depends on your school. Last year our financial aid offices were really slow on getting everything together so many of us had to pay out of our pockets then were reimbursed later. I think it should be a month if everything is running smoothly.

What I meant to say was my application for the school, and the CPT test scores went through fast
