How long does it really take from Windsor Hills

How long does it take to get to MK by car from Windsor Hills in the morning? Is it really only 5 minutes? What about to the entrance of MK?

It takes 5 minutes to get to Animal Kingdom. It takes at least 30min. to get to MK so that you're inside the park ( parking, taking tram to TTC, monorail and through the ticket turnstiles). If you're going to rope drop allow yourself 45 minutes.

As Wanda has said MK takes much longer than any of the other disney parks to get to simply because the car lot is so far away. WH to MK car lot can easily be achieved within 15 mins, but the monorail/ferry can easily add a further 15 mins and quite a bit more if its opening/closing time.

As others have said the AK car lot is within 5 mins, and if you get there earlier enough the entrance is only 2 mins further.

I agree witht the above. We were parked at AK within 5minutes of leaving Windsor Hills. And probably about 10-15mins to Epcot and DHS. MK was longer although probably only 15mins to car park. It took almost aslong to get from the carpark to the inside of the park.

It takes 5 minutes to reach Disney property from the general area.

It takes longer for Magic Kingdom. closer to 30 or more depending traffic.

I use to own a home and it does NOT take 30 minutes to reach the MK from Windsor Hills. It is a 2 mile trip depending on traffic maybe 15 @ the MOST!!!!

they meant it takes 30 minutes from your door to the gates of MK, not 30 minutes just to the parking lot....

I think the above posters were saying 15 to the car lot, and then another 15 to get in the park - that's how I understood it anyway.

Yep not 30 minutes to the carpark but 30 minutes to walking in the park.

Its about 2 miles to Animal Kingdom, its another 5 miles to MK main gate from AK. The 30 mins is from villa door to MK entrance.
