Hi!

Currently planning a Nassau Day on the Disney Wonder (5 ships in port: Family decided to pass on Atlantis and any other excursions and decided to stay on the cruiseship instead since it's just gonna be a three nights cruise).

We are currently looking at Bingo. I got most info I need except one:

How long does it last?

Thanks in advance!

I think the 80.00 Family pack has 4 color coded cards as well as an electronic handset (or two) It moves pretty quick, but it is fun. The electronic handsets do everything for you but the cards are the typical punch out the numbers thing so you have to be on your toes. They put in some giveaways by calling out your name (when you purchase the package, your name goes into the drawings)

I think it's more like 45-60 minutes. They generally do 3 games and there is a ton of CM/Guest interaction. We have so much fun at Bingo, especially when B11 is called. I will say, this is one activity that DCL does way better than Carnival. I only say that, not to bash Carnival, but because DCL makes it super fun! Splurge on it at least once.

By package you mean the family package?

It will be my in laws and us for a total of 4 adults (2 different reservations).

Can we buy just one family package? Thanks in advance.

Yes, you can buy as many packages or a less expensive package if you would prefer. So one Family pack should be sufficient for the 4 of you to all be involved and play.

I don't buy the family package as it is just me playing. But I do get the one with the electronic handset.

I love B 11 and the little jokes they make ...maybe the time just seems to go faster for me because I am alone during Bingo games while hubby and kids are doing their own thing. lol
In fact Bingo time is the only time I am not with one or all of them. Hmmm... interesting.

Are you looking to play bingo on the ship while docked in Nassau? The ships aren't permitted to run bingo sessions while docked. (Similar to ship shops being closed while in port)

Awww. That's too bad. But yes. That's exactly what I was hoping to do.

Hopefully there willbe a game before main seating because our evenings will be very busy.

You can hang out with my family if we're ever on the same ship!!!

Hi,

We've never done bingo on board.. A couple of questions are children allowed - if they can't play can they just watch? Are the prices of the packages or cards posted anywhere?

Thanks in advance

This is just my personal opinion and everyone's different but I've been disappointed with BINGO on the ships with the exception of the jackpot bingo on longer cruises. I grew up used to the session at the VFW and American Legion that lasted 2 hours. We were done in under 30 minutes the first time I played. There were 4 games, each lasted less than 5 minutes plus a little time to transition. Some sessions have been longer but my expectations were too high based on my experience at other venues.

On the longer cruises jackpot bingo we've had to wait at least 30 minutes after scheduled start time for everyone to buy their cards and get ready. While I like those sessions the wait time is way too long.

Children can play, they just cannot claim the prize :-) There are lots of kids at bingo.

Please could someone tell me When do they offer the Bingo sessions and What is the electronic handset. TIA
