How long do you stay?

We take everything very slow and I like to take pictures and video. I can't decide how many days to devote to Disneyland and California Adventure. I'm trying to plan my trip with other tour sights in mind . My main reason in visiting California is to see these two parks. We are two adults over fifty with no kids. I will want to see every show that is out there like Fantasmic, Electrical Parade, etc.

I need the real diehard Disney fans to answer this one.

I beleive that it takes AT LEAST 3 days in the parks to fully experience everything. If you want to add it more time to smell the roses, visit Downtown Disney, have a few nice dinners etc. I would add at least a day or two.

We spent six days at DLR last trip, with one day being devoted to USH. We felt the amount of time was just right as we wanted to take it slow. We knew that if there was a long line for something we could always skip it and make it a priority the next day. We had more than enough time to hit everything, rides and shops. Next time we are thinking about extending it to seven days with one day for USH, and another day for an LA tour, or something similar, but still allowing five days for DLR. You can do just about everything in three days (our first trip to DLR was three days), but with more time you don't have to rush anything.

You can do everything in 3 days, even less if you're quick, but if I go for 3 days or less, I am not ready to leave yet. I am never READY to leave, but you know what I mean. 4-5 days is perfect, I think. Have a great time!

My July trip is 5 days usually any other trips are 2-4 days

It really depends when you go- Summer I would say 4-5 days Off season 2-3 would get most done-
