How long do the new Star Wars Fireworks last?

Disney has posted an 8:45 start time for the Star Wars fireworks on Tuesday, September 2nd. That is a lot earlier than I had expected, and it totally messes up my ADR at Sci-Fi Cafe. And now I can't get an earlier one. I'm thinking of maybe just trying to eat dinner after the fireworks instead. Does anyone know how long the fireworks show lasts? (And a related question: what is the likelihood that Disney will change the fireworks time and move it later?)

I didn't time it but I think it was around 15-20 minutes. Hopefully someone will have a more firm answer. Disney changes times on things constantly so no one can really answer that for certain. I never consider times firm until the week before my trip and even then they will sometimes change things.

Do you mean Friday, Sept. 2?

The park closes at 9 to non-magic hour guests, I expect the fireworks will stay at 8:45. But things like this are fluid.

fireworks times are not likely to change once they are announced. The show lasts 13 minutes
