We got home this past week from our wonderful stay at RPR. This was my fourth on-site experience, and I think this one was the best. Looking over my credit card statement though, I noticed that there was a couple of holds that I couldn't figure out. When I called my credit card provider, they told me that the Bula Bar and grill had a hold on my card for X amount of dollars, but the actual charge already showed up on my credit card account, and the hold was different than the actual charge. So, why would the hold still be there if I have already been charged for the drinks that we received? Is it normal for the holds to stay there that long even after the charge has gone through? I didn't have this problem with any other restaurants, only the Loews hotel.
