How long could your family survive?

I could survive the longest (I have the most clothing!) Probably about 2 weeks, and maybe longer, but that would be wearing the clothes that I don't like that much!

My kids, probably a week and a half, but they'd have to wear their shorts twice. They both have about 7 pair of shorts, plus gym shorts. Plenty of underwear though, and neither wear socks much in the summer.

My DH...probably a week and a half too.

I only have like 4 bras... I hate shopping for them.
I can't comprehend spending 5$ or more for a piece of fabric that covers your butt. If i'm gonna spend 5$, i'd rather buy a pair of jeans that covers a lot more.

It was a sticker shock when i decided to go to hanes, 3pairs for 5.50. I was so used fruit of the loom for like 6$ for 5 pairs. But i'm much happier with the hanes brand.

If everything were clean to start with, I could go at least a month. Of course getting it all clean to start with would be the real trick.

I'm off to do :laundy:

I think we're with the majority at about 2 weeks. Although, it would NEVER happen because I have issues with dirty laundry piling up and find myself stressing big time after a long weekend where I don't do upkeep... sigh...

Wow! How many clothes do ya'll have? DD17 could probably go 2wks. DH & Christian, maybe a week. I would be tapped out in less than 5 days. I just don't have many clothes or shoes, I guess. Should I feel deprived? :confused3

A LOT! Last christmas I was able to buy bags of clothes at steve and barry's before they went out of business for a DOLLAR a bag... I think we spent 50$ SOOOOO many clothes! I did get rid of a ton of them to a church that just weren't my thing recently (9 garbage bags full!!) I think we could all go at least a month with out wearing the same thing twice, maybe not the baby because he is a spiller.. he likes to spill stuff.. we go thru a few outfits a day because of it! That being said I'd NEVER do that... that is just punishment.. I couldn't imagine playing catch up. I do 2 loads of laundry a day.

DH and I just recently went thru and rearranged our dresser drawers, so I know for a fact that I have:

14 pairs of jeans.
12 pairs of capris.
32 pairs of shorts.
8 pairs of sweats/jogging pants.
10 pairs of dress pants.

Holy cow!! :faint: You wanna know what's in my closet?

2 pair capris
2 pairs shorts
5 t-shirts
1 pair khakis
1 pair jeans
1 pair black dress pants
2 nicer tops
1 dress(12 years old)
2 pairs New Balance shoes
1 pair flip flops
2 bras
7 pairs underwear
5 pairs socks

No kidding. That's it. :upsidedow

2 weeks plus easily. I have way too many weekend clothes for someone that uniform dresses Monday to Friday.:lmao: We're talking 10 pairs of jeans, 5 pairs of khakis, and a bunch of cropped pants I wear year round. Then the skirts and dresses. Now for work I have 8 days at my ready. Just in case I don't get laundry done one weekend. Tops, I buy multiples all the time--yeah it's a bad habit.

Now the summer is a different story. I now own all of 3 pairs of shorts. So for 6 days of WDW in August there will be a laundry afternoon.:laundy:
