How long between closing resale and DVC membership?

As the title suggests I'm curious how long it takes to get your membership info after the closing has filed.

I've got a work trip coming up and I want to buy my APs before the trip and I'm impatient. I'm inside my 60 day window and can't book FP+ without a ticket.

It has been awhile since I purchased points but I would say about 30 days. Maybe longer if you didn't buy direct from Disney.

We just closed through TSS. I believe it took about 15 days to get our member number through the mail. The letter didn't have sign on information though. I had to call for that information (which I had done prior to the letter )

Keep an eye on the Orange County comptrollers site for your deed to be recorded. You should be able to call and get your member number ten to twelve days later.

2-3 weeks depending on how busy they are.

They have just started selling Poly so if it is popular it could be slowed down. VGF initial sales impacted resales

That is what I wad afraid of. My deed posted last Friday when we closed so I'm still another week and a half to two weeks out. I hate waiting. ☺

The other challenge is that I'd like to book a trip for August and we are well within the window for that so I'm hoping there is some availability when I finally get access.

I closed recently as well. My Deed appeared on OCC site on 1/15, was able to call and get my Membership number on 1/27. There was a holiday in that wait (MLK), so I may have lost a day. I started to calling MS (opt 3) on 1/26, but the points were not available until 1/27. Good luck! I know that waiting is the worst.

You have to use option 3 when calling, which is member accounting. I spoke to few people at Member Accounting, they were very friendly and willing to help. I made the mistake of choosing option 1 on my first attempt at requesting my Membership number, they were nice, but unwilling to search for my number.

That's who I talked to. According to them they were behind and I wasn't in they system yet
