How long before the wedding do you have a planning session?

Hi all -

I'm planning a Wishes DFTW in Feb 2011. I'm also planning a visit to WDW in Oct 2010 (4 months prior to the wedding).

Would that be a good time to have my planning session?

When did you (or will you) have yours? How many months prior to the wedding?

Is there anything I should know about having it 4 months out?

They recommend 4-6 months prior to the wedding. So that would be a perfect time!

Ours will be about 5 months before the wedding. I think either time will be fine so just do what works best with your schedule.

I don't think there is really much benefit to going earlier aside from getting your BEO earlier, but even at 4 months I think you should have plenty of time to make changes if you wanted.
