How long are you actually in the Space 220 lounge?

I was watching the Dis video about restaurants they were looking forward to that didn’t live up to their expectations, and Craig mentioned how they were in Space 220 for about 2 hours and 45 minutes!
It’s a table service restaurant so I figured it would take a bit of time to eat there but didn’t expect it would take that long!

So that was in the restaurant.
How long have those of you that have been in the lounge for a meal found it to take?

DS and I will have only one day at EP in which won’t even get there til about 3pm.
I was wanting to go to Space 220 with him, do GotG and Remy (since that all will be new to us) as well as hopefully get on TT, Soarin’, SE and 3 Cabelleros.

So, I’m really hoping a lounge experience doesn’t take as long as the restaurant experience does.
We’d probably get some apps and drinks.
Mid-September this year.

Anyone been to the lounge and recall how long it took for apps and drinks?

Thanks!

Not the lounge, but my experience at the restaurant didn't take that long at all. My server went at my pace.

Okay, I went through my photos and checked time stamps. 2:42- got my 'ticket', 2:45- seated, 3:07- got my app, 3:34- entrée delivered. And by 4:05- I was in front of the GOTG for my BG. So yeah I was probably in there for about an hour.

Last September, my Mom and I were in the lounge about an hour to hour 10 minutes. We did apps (3 to share among the 2 of us) and desserts only. In March, I dined with friends in the lounge. My one friend did the full meal (from the restaurant) and I did 2 appetizers (well one for my meal and one to share with the table) and dessert too. So we were there a bit longer - thinking it was about 1.25 hours (maybe a bit less), but not really sure. From pics, it looks like we were seated around 4:43 and were in line for Ratatouille at 5:57.

In August of last year, my fiancé and I went to the lounge and we were there about 45 minutes. We each ordered an appetizer and a drink. The food was delicious and the drinks were very unique! I think it is worth to at least see once. We plan to go again in November with our kids because my son is dying to see it and are hoping to get a lounge reservation again because the view of all the windows is better and not being locked into the 2 or 3 course meal is ideal for us as I don't think my kids will like much on the prix fixe menu.

Went to the lounge with my family of 4. We ordered drinks and apps. We were out in 30 -40 mins. My kids were wiggly and asked the waiter for the check. The view from the lounge was amazing and the elevator ride was awesome. One of my kids thinks we actually went to space. Well worth it.

That’s so cute!

Thanks for all the reviews- I think I’ll try to get my son and me a lounge reservation.

My sister wants to try the restaurant so we’ll probably do that earlier in the week.
I’ll be there for F&W with my sister for a week, then when she leaves my son is coming, so hopefully 🤞🏻 we can get a Lounge reservation on day 8.

Took us about 80 minutes for a leisurely drink and app each on May 9th. Our reservation was for 6:30 PM, in the Lounge, but they actually seated us on the restaurant side of the upper level.

566 thousand million years. To me, we were there so long that I thought I was at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe. I kept expecting Zaphod to pull the Heart of Gold out of his pocket and see the universe explode outside those view screens.
