How long after re-sale closing before you called

Of course I'm a newbie as well, but i'm calling tomorrow because i'm hoping to just be able to look into availability,

I think there is at least 3 of us on here that closed this week??

I never received any papers in the mail from DVC, by the way. I bought resale. We got the signed contracts and legal papers but nothing from DVC. However, all of our information was accurately posted on the dvcmember website. Bottom line, definitely do not wait to receive anything in the mail. Call daily everyday, that's my advice.

Yay, we're in the system, just no points yet!!!! Getting closer. Now i will call every morning looking for my points!!!

Closed on thursday, was in the system friday, points added on saturday !!!

This was fast !!! Just call, worst that can happen is that MS will tell you that you are not in the system !

I called first thing this morning and I was not in the system. They told me to try Monday morning.

closed on 7/14 called on 7/17 -7/19 -7/20 then called on 7/21 got member number no pts yet called on 7/23 -7/24 -7/26 pts on system made res. this was a resale went well

I closed on July 13th and I called the next day and they had my membership. I booked 3 trips and got everything I wanted. I am a happy camper. When I first called at 9am they didn't have it yet but I called back at 11 am and they did. They told me to keep calling they don't mind.

Yay, we're completely in the system now....took 6 days from closing

Congrats on getting in the system.

We just bought and was sent to ROFR yesterday.

How can I wait that long...... I'm going crazy already.

Just have to share, well because i'm excited.

WE just booked a 2 bedroom at OKW for the first weekend in Nov. 2 nights, waitlisted the 3rd. The rest of the time will be at FW cabins. So it will be nice to get a little taste of DVC.

We're using the banked points from 09 we got and saving all the '10 for next year when we can do it right and make our reservation at 11 month mark.



Now off to find out about OKW.
