How late can we arrive for our ADR and get away with it?

So we recently had our flights completely cancelled (gotta love the airline industry these days...what a mess) and had to book competely new flights for our trip. Luckily, we managed to get a very similar itinerary but I'm a little concerned about making it to our first ADR on teh day we arrive, because we now land slightly later than originally planned.

So my question is: if we are a half hour late, an hour late, or more for our ADR will they still let us in? How much can we push it? I'm concerned about trying to move the ADR back, though I will definitely try. But if I can't get a later ressie, I dont know. I THINK we will still make it to the restaurant by the time of our ADR but am not sure.

What have your experiences been with arriving late for an ADR? :confused3

I am sorry to tell you we have showed up an hour late and still been treated very nicely ..we have also been an hour early and made to wait the whole hour...oh well we are still happy customers!!

We were meeting friends for breakfast once - we were on time, they were 90 minutes late! The hosts were very kind and got us in as soon as they could.

On our last day, we had breakfast at CMs and had first gone to DTD to check in with our airline. There were NO buses from Westside to MK at that time, we waited for like 45mins.

We finally flagged down a cab and were around an hour plus late to our ADR, I'd prepared my sob story on the way in cab as I thought they'd no way let us eat and I was really looking forward to dining with Mickey on our last day.

They were really nice about it, and I didn't even have to explain myself - we waited like 20mins and then we were in.

Most likely they would try to squeeze you in when they had some room---.

It probably depends on the restaurant and how busy they are. I never book ARD's close to landing. You can always experience weather delays, etc and land several hours late. I would book at ADR at a restaurant that you wouldn't mind missing if you're to late.

In most restaurants it doesn't seem to be a problem. I have experienced or witnessed late arrival problems at CRT and Akershus where people were turned away for being more than 5 minutes late. Don't know if applies at other character meals also or just the princess ones.

It depends on so many things like the resturant that your at and how busy it is at the time you show up. Also how nice the CM is to. But I think your good if it's like 20 mins. After that then I keep my fingers crossed.

I am so sorry that your flights got canceled out from underneath you. How frustrating!

I'd show up as soon as you can and see how it goes. I would guess that they would be as accommodating as possible.
