How late can I arrive for my fast pass reservation?

We have fast pass reservations for Star Tours from 1:55-2:55 and our Sci Fi Cafe reservation is at 1:55. I don't want to be rushed at lunch, but we don't want to miss Star Tours. If we show up 20 minutes after our window on the fast pass, will we be rejected, or do they not care too much?

You MIGHT get a 15 min. Grace Period. (It is built into the FP+ system, but some here
have reported that they did not get to ride if they were late to the stated window time.)

Have you tried moving the ST FP+?

Also, know that SciFi can get backed up and you very well could be seated late.
I'd arrive at least 30 minutes before your ADR and get checked-in (and maybe get seated
earlier or closer to your actual ADR time.)

Also, ask for your check as soon as your food arrives, and pay the check immediately,
so that possible slow service won't hold you up.

Sometimes there is a grace period of 15 minutes (but not a second more,) and sometimes there's not one at all.

Your chances of making that fastpass are slim to none.

Is this during Star Wars Weekends? If so, I wouldn't chance being seated. I'd move the Star Tours FP+.

I got lucky on ToT when I was about 8 minutes late, I said I was late and he said to try and I turned green. It took me about 7 minutes to reach the second checkpoint and I was still green. But there have been reports of no tolerance on some shows.

I would go to the Star Tours first, then lunch. We've been turned away for being 10m late to FP+ (the first check point). We've never been turned away for being 10-20m late for an ADR. The only time we got a "grace period" was when the FP+ line was about 10m long to the first check point. So technically we were there on time, but since it took so long for everyone infront of us to scan we were late.

I'd go early to Star Tours, you can probably get in about 5 minutes early.

We've been to Sci Fi three times and never got out of there that quickly. Sci Fi is always our slowest service experience and I wouldn't risk that close of a window.

I wouldn't want to be rushed for lunch either, especially at Sci Fi. I can't imagine sitting there, eating a lunch, watching the film clips and be constantly thinking, "we have to hurry up so we can make our FastPasses". Not a great way for me to spend a meal at Disney World. If you can, move the FastPass to earlier or later. Or, do standby. Or, move the lunch to earlier so you are not in a rush.

Just change the ST FP to 1:15 or so. Problem solved. There's no way that STs is out of availability - and no reason to intentionally schedule them in a way that's going to stress you out.

I agree, we had slow service at Sci Fi as well. And it took a long time to get seated there. You'll miss your FP.

ST on a full stomach? Eek. I would go to ST and be late for the ADR if unable to move either or have one person take one for the team and check in for the ADR while everyone else rides.

That's actually a really good point. I can ride ToT 10 times in a row and be fine, but Star Tours made me super nauseous last time.

As other posters have said, ST is one of the easiest FPs to reschedule. Just move that to another time that works better.

I don't think they'll seat you unless your entire party is present....

But, a single guest can check in.
Tell the restaurant that the group is on the way.

Really? I have heard people try that, only to be told to check in when everyone is there. And they always ask if your entire group is present.

OP--you won't make it. Change your FP if you can to before your meal.

The point is not to be seated, it is to check in with the host.
Tell the restaurant you're not no-shows... just going to be late.
