We booked a 7 night western cruise for July 3 and were assigned cabin 7514. Looks like a great spot to us!! We will have 2 teen boys so it should be very convienent to run to the room if we need anything or simply as a meeting place.

Also, does anyone know of a secret or nice spot for morning coffee close to that room?

Thanks,
Karen

The best place for coffee is on your private verandah. Two words.....Room Service!

We had room service deliver a two carafes of coffee every morning during our Easter Cruise. It was good coffee and we could wear our bunny slippers.

I have to at least mention the "secret deck 7 area"...

From where your stateroom is, go to the very back of the ship, staying on deck 7. You'll come to a door, which leads to a small deck area, with maybe 8 or 10 deck chairs on it and nothing else.
Not too many people are aware of it, and it is therefore often unoccupied. If you're lucky, you can take your morning coffee out there and have the whole deck to yourself! it's really nice, and it's as big as the verandahs that the cat 2 and 3 rooms have... except it's free! :) It's also a tremendous view.

ENJOY
