Hiya!

We're staying at CSR (thanks to BUZZ) and I'm wondering what everyone thinks of the Maya Grill. The guide books aren't too crazy about it but it looks like a good place to split a meal on the DDP - those are some big entrees and appetizers!

Also, the desserts aren't listed on allears.net - does anyone know about what kind of desserts they have?

Thanks! :)

The Wife and I ate at the Maya Grill in March. I liked it, she hated it.
I had a crab chulpa (basically a crab cake) and a shrimp and salmon tostada. I thought that they were both very fresh, presented well and were quite tasty.

My wife had a salad (basic mixed green salad) and she didn't like the dressing. She had surf and turf (mahi mahi and steak). She didn't like the sauce on the fish and the steak was over cooked.

Neither of us had dessert, so I can't comment on that.

We both agreed that our waiter was very slow and inneficient. We felt pretty much ignored in our corner of the place.

The servings are huge and could certainly be split amoung two adults very easilly.

Hope that you have a good experience there!
