I wish it was a zero entry pool....but oh well....

So how would you rate it for an 18 month old? Too deep? Is it set far apart from the other pools/slides? I have a 5 year old too and dont want to miss out on him having fun too!!

It is nicely set apart from the large pool so that your 18 month can't make a quick dash for deeper waters (we always had to worry about that with our youngest) but not too far that you can't see what is going on in the big pool. There are some fountains in the baby pool from what I remember to keep her occupied and it should be fine depth-wise for her.

We also brought our daughter's float pack ($10 from YMCA's) so she could join us in the big pool.

We stayed at CSR last Nov and LOVED it!! There is a great playground right in the pool area which is so nice. Also, there is sand for them to play in and a really clean bath house to shower off afterwards. Our kids thought lunch from Siesta's by the pool was one of the best parts of the v-k! :cloud9:

I thought it was a major letdown (we stayed in June). It's just a wading pool essentially. It's a little off to itself. We had just stayed 6 weeks prior at cbr which has a wonderful area for the under 48" crowd (gated with small slides, like a pirate ship) and IMO, a superior themed main pool. Other than the pool area, we liked CSR a lot but will not return there until our kids are older (like maybe 10).
