How is the construction at AKL??

We are staying at POR in November, but I am thinking about AKL too. Is the construction really messing things up there? I was thinking about a Pool View or Standard View.

I was there in April... and it didn't impact my stay at all. I think next year, Jan-March is when it might really mess with some stays as they are going to move some animals off some of the savannas, and they won't tell you now which rooms will be affected. I would suggest a savanna-view room if you can swing it, there's nothing like waking up, having a cup of coffee in your balcony, and watching the animals.
