How is Raglan Road?

Can you explain a little more how American and Irish sausage differ? The Mash looked really good to me, but am not curios what to expect if they are different?

The sausages in England (Bangers) are much larger than American breakfast sausage, not as spicy usaally, not like Italian or brats orpolish. But very good, mash is mashed potatoes. Ihave seen Bob Evans Large breakfast sausage that look just like them!

I had the Shepard's Pie, and all I can say is, "Yum!!"

Thanks I love lamb and I think I saw it was a mix of lamb and beef. Shepherd's pie was originally aleftover meal made with the leftover "Sunday Joint" minced up with onins gravy etc and leftover mashed potates. I make it with ground beef.. It's a popular supper at home!!

I went for lunch a few weeks ago and just had a burger (no bun - I'm gluten intolerant). I thought it was good food - I complain about burgers at Disney - this one was a pretty darn good burger even by non-Disney standards. Chips with malt vinegar were really good. The restaurant was on the cool side and it was empty (but it was 11:20 for lunch). The waitress was attentive. However, I did experience some "gastric distress" later that day - its possible that the burger or toppings had some bread in it, its possible that the distress was unrelated to the meal. I wouldn't make it a must do or go out of my way, but if I were looking for a DTD meal, I'd go back.

enjoy a meal at Raglan Road...

A good way to take in the atmosphere of Raglan Road is to make a reservation for say 8:30pm to 9:00 pm and ask for a table near the bar area and enjoy a snack and a beer while enjoying some good entertainment (good Irish music and step dancers).

We are doing this on Friday evening of this week!
