How is parking at Disney springs?

If you can get in the garages, it's great.

If the garages are full and you are across the street in the Cast Member lots, it's a bother.

It was late Saturday, April 8, around 11pm. To my knowledge there was no special event at DS that night (maybe Cirque had recently gotten out?). DS was packed with Spring Break/pre-Easter crowds. I was on the 4th floor of the Orange garage (it was "full" when I entered it but had about maybe 5-10 spots per level available). To compound the issue, I headed toward Epcot Center Drive thinking I'd get to I-4 faster, but Buena Vista was jammed, so Hotel Plaza to 535 may have been quicker.

Going back tomorrow for "Dapper Day Eve" (I can't believe that's a thing), so wish me better luck. I'm hoping that was an Easter fluke.

You should be fine. When you had a long wait you likely just got roped into traffic that was already heavy for spring break, like you said maybe Cirque just let out, and another event going on

Usually the norm from what I've seen is it's an easy 5 min or less to leave.

And also to those heading toward DS whenever, don't always believe the signs when they say the garages are full. Probably the past 2 or 3 times I went it said "full" for both. I thought not a chance and decided to drive in. Sure enough there was a ton of empty spots. So go check anyways before you see "full" and give up.
