Just wondered who has cruised in November and how was the weather. We went on a cruise (NCL) at the beginning of October a few years back and the weather was perfect. We are considering the November 6, 2004 Western. We were going to wait until the summer of 2005 but it is so much more expensive in the summer. The kids have 2 1/2 day break from school so they would only miss 2 1/2 days.

We have 5 people so we need a cat. 4 or two connecting. We are considering 2 cat 10's as it is about $1200 cheaper. Is a verandah really worth $1200 bucks?

Last year we went at the end of Oct. and the weather was perfect. Trying Nov. this year.

Is the verandah worth $1200? I guess it depends on who you ask! In my opinion, NO -- because for $1200 LESS you get TWO bathrooms. Also, the amount of time spend in the cabin isn't worth it to us. (we had no trouble whatsoever in two cat. 10's last year with 7 people (my DS's best friend came with us). I'd rather take that money and spend it elsewhere. My parents would totally disagree but they are two people and we are six!

I agree w/ disney6! You probably won't be in your room long enough to make it worth the extra $1200. That money could be used for spending $ or to put a deposit down for your next cruise! And the extra bathroom is a plus! We will have a verandah only because our little girl will be 7 months old and I'm sure we'll be back in the room from time to time for naps. This way we can sit on the verandah while she's napping.

And by the way--we LOVE November. Hurricane season is "officially" over and it's cooler--but not cold. About low to mid 80's last time!!

Hurrican season may be over officially, but I hit one in 2001 on the Eastern! Made things a bit bumpy and rocky, but still fun!
