How is Disney at Christmas

Has anyone been at Disney during Christmas week and Easter week? I've gone a few times during Easter break and it is really busy, but manageable. Parks also are open longer during Easter than Christmas as I do my compare and I assume that is because it is cooler in December. I'm just trying to get an idea if this it similar to those crowds. Thanks!
Yes, Christmas week is worse. Parks reach capacity more during this week than at Easter.

The way I see it, going to WDW during X-mas is not so much about the rides. It's more of enjoying the atmosphere and the decorations which are beautiful. It is a whole different feel than going on a regular vacation. Even though it is crowded, it is still very magical :cloud9:. Going with that in mind let's you enjoy it.

We went last Dec 16-22 and it wasn't bad at all! We used same touring plans we use in Sept.. Nights can get crowded and I don't know I've ever seen so many ppl in one place when we were at the Osbourne Lights but its so worth it!! The closer you get to Christmas the more crowded it gets and I hear week between Christmas and NYE is very crowded

ASMU/POR Dec 16-22, 2012 & CR Sept 8-15, 2013

We usually go to the World over Thanksgiving but this year dd in college so we are going 12/19-12/24. I will be home for Christmas and get put in the mood before first:goodvibes

One thing I want to add is that at the Osborne lights last year dd got hot chocolate in a Christmas themed mug with Mickey and gang(same size as the resort refillable ones) and it was only like $5!

I got a blinking Christmas cupcake!!! Spice cake decorated with frosting, a blinking cube and a piece of Mickey chocolate on top too! Pretty and delish!

CR and Poly sometimes have festive cupcakes in the QS restaurant.

Any other fun things to share? I have seen GF many times , I really need to make it to Boardwalk hotels this year.

FYI we are staying VGF 2bdrm lake view.

We haven't been at Christmas but we've been during the Christmas Season many times before (mid November and the beginning of December). All of the parks and resorts are beautifully decorated. It's our favorite time of year to go! I would highly recommend going during the holiday season. If you're going Christmas week, the crowds will be insanely busy, but IMO it's still worth seeing if you've never been!
