How is dinner at Crystal Palace?

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at CP. The characters were great--even stopping to spend time with two middle-aged women! :) You don't get a ton of time with them, but the handler checked to see if we wanted some character time. We did the first go-round, but the other two waved them on to spend time with their younger fans. :)

The food was well-prepared and served at appropriate temperatures. We like it because my friend loves to try everything and I'm very picky--read plain! It's a nice compromise for us.

We haven't tried, lunch, but I didn't care for the menu. And we don't do breakfast, so no comment there.

On the other hand, if you are going to Crystal Palace with the expectations that you will be spending a huge amount of time with the characters you will be surprised. Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore were the only characters that came near our table. Although they only shook our hands and gave a few hugs, it was still far nicer than Pooh, who saw that our table had no young children sitting there and walked away... :sad2:

Thats left me a lill worried now as its gonna be just me & my df going there for breakfast & the only reason i ve booked for this is to have lots of pics with Eeyore (hes my fav). I think if 1 of the characters walked past us i would be devastated!!

Has anyone else had this kind of problem when there are no kids with you?? I think thats terrible, kids or no kids i personally see no difference. Half the time the adults act more like children than kids do anyway (i know i do)

We love CP and have had dinner or lunch there every time. The items that I remember loving are mussels in green curry sauce, edamame salad, salmon and coconut flan. I enjoy their buffet because there are always lots of interesting veggie dishes which you never see at the other WDW buffets.

Dinner at Cp is a must for me! The first time we went there DD wanted to cancel our ressies the next day at LTT and go back!! It is an awesome buffet, I love the shrimp and the mussels and the prime rib, they also have delish rolls I try many other salads and sides too and have loved them all. The desserts are wonderful. Characters are GREAT!!

I was there in January 2008 and loved it. My daughter and I loved the food and the character interaction was great. I plan on going again on our trip this December.:yay:
