We have an ADR here for dinner late July, could you let me know if you think it is worth the cost and what you liked. Thanks!!

We had dinner there once a few years ago and felt that it was too expensive for what you got. We generally try for a late breakfast now. The food was good but we didn't think it was worth the dinner prices.

we went twice last year.....in April with four adults and in September just hubby and myself........we had a great time and the food was pretty darn good.....Our favorites were the prime rib and the salmon was out of site....Hubby liked the pulled pork and the prime rib .....The salads were plentiful and I enjoyed the desserts......we are going with newbies in a few weeks.......

We love dinner at Crystal Palace:lovestruc ! The food is absolutely delicious - definitely a must-do for our family!

Dinner at Crystal Palace has become a family tradition; we go there for dinner on the evening of our first day at Magic Kingdom every trip. When we dined there in July of 2007, everyone really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, although I only ate a bit since I felt a little sick. Our waitress (unfortunately, her name has slipped my mind, but on her nametag it said something about England) provided us with the best service we have ever had in Disney World; when she noticed that I wasn't eating, she suggested that I should have some club soda which she promptly brought out and kept 1/2 or more filled throughout the evening. Empty plates were taken away every five minutes or less, and our table was always clean. Needless to say, she received a big tip.

On the other hand, if you are going to Crystal Palace with the expectations that you will be spending a huge amount of time with the characters you will be surprised. Tigger, Piglet, and Eeyore were the only characters that came near our table. Although they only shook our hands and gave a few hugs, it was still far nicer than Pooh, who saw that our table had no young children sitting there and walked away... :sad2:

So, going to the Crystal Palace is really a toss up. What is more important to you; food and service, or character interaction?

We have eaten dinner there a few times and have really enjoyed it...planning on going back in Oct. The adobe pork and the chicken with mushrooms in a cream sauce are my favorites.

The food is WONDERFUL!!! We love the selections, everything is fresh!!! If you want to save some money, try to get a reservation for a late lunch!

We've had dinner there the last three times. There is a wide variety of food to choose from. A previous poster mentioned the pork adobo and I agree it is quite good. The prime rib and spoon bread are also on my favorites list.

I don't know what I'll do in the future. My son is already acting too cool for the Pooh characters. My daughter ill probably be there is three or four years.

I'll be going for Dinner on May 14th for the first time for DD's 5th birthday. Can't wait.

We ate both breakfast and dinner at the CP on our trip last September. It was the first time that we had eaten either meal there. We all prefered dinner over breakfast. It was one of the better dinner buffets that I have ever been to. I think we would go back even if we didn't have small children. In fact, we actually have reservations for dinner and breakfast again this year. I think you'll have a great experience. :thumbsup2

Last year (our first WDW vacation) we did CP for supper and LOVED the food. (and the characters) Actually we are going back again this year and we decided that we wanted to do some of the same TS and some new ones..... CP was one the our family decided was a definate repeat!

I love the CP dinner! On my last trip, my parents and sister got to try it for the first time and it ended up being their favorite dinner of the trip. The food is fresh and good and we got great character interaction. It's a must do for us now :thumbsup2

Ok question... i have this on my plan and I am on the edge about cancelling it...for Cape May...(their menu seems better) but if all of you say you love it...makes me question cancelling it...does anyone have pictures....
Do they have more at dinner then is shown on their menu?

My Dh and I went in November, we thought it was alright and agreed that we wont be back there until we have children. I think it is more for the atmosphere.

I've had lunch and dinner there and honestly prefer lunch. It's most of the same food, but IMO there are many more and much better desserts at lunch, not to mention it's less expensive ($7 per person cheaper). :thumbsup2 We're going back again this trip for lunch and I can't wait!!!

This thread is also a help for me. We are planning to go for Lunch there on 12/5. The DS will love it. We for the food and DS for just getting to SEE the pooh caracters. I will also be booking for lunch. sounds like the best time.

We loved it. We're going back in September and have ADR's for breakfast and dinner there. I think it's the best TS in MK.

We were disappointed with dinner, prefer the breakfast. And it was very very noisy

In the past we have always had breakfast here & loved it. Two years ago for Mother's Day, my husband & kids surprised me that morning w/a trip to Disney. Husband made all ADR and for dinner on Mother's Day we ate here. It was fantastic. The food was really great! Now we usually eat dinner there every trip!
