How is Boatwright's at POR?

After staying at Por and Dixie Landings for years I finally ate at Boatwright's for the first time this past September. The fried crawfish tails appetizer was excellent, everything else was ok, nothing bad by any means but nothing to make me say I have to get back here. With that said, I say, if you're never done it, give it a try; make up your own mind.

I was there in October and loved it. I got French onion soup and sweet tea glazed pork. It was fantastic. My girlfriend got fish and thought it was great as well. Plus they give you a ton of corn bread. I'm a sucker for corn bread.

We always enjoy it. We don't eat there unless we are staying at POR, but it is a perfect end to a day where you are either having a nap and want to grab dinner before taking the boat to DTD or back to the park or wanting a slow resort day. I enjoy the prime rib and bananas foster.

As with all reviews on the interwebs these days, take them for what they're worth: the good, the bad and the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. We'll be dining there in 2 weeks during our first visit to POR and looking forward to it all.
