I booked Ariel's for lunch so me and daughter could have a Mom & Daughter special lunch. How is it? We did the Princess Lunch in Norway at Epcot when we went to Disneyworld and we enjoyed the princess interaction. The food was so/so. I'm just trying to see what they offer at Ariel's foodwise for lunch and any pictures would be awesome! Also, how is the Princess interaction for lunch? THANKS SO MUCH!

When we go we try and do the earliest sitting. We wait until our name is called (reserved time) and then everyone lines up after each name is called, going down the stairway. At the bottom is Ariel for a picture opportunity and quick visit. The you are seated and drink orders are taken. Appetizers are a three tiered affair and you choose your own main course, then dessert is also a mixed array. We enjoyed our meal, teh food was very good and a little more upscale. There is sure to be something for everyone to choose from. The princesses then are announced and make their way around each table, stopping briefly for a picture and quick chat then they move on. We enjoy teh food and eth cool decor but teh lack of lines for Princesses more than makes up for the price of the meal. Its in, lunch, and out without leaving your table of waiting in lines at the parks to visit with the ladies. WE have been a couple of times and each time saw Cinderella, Belle, Aurora, Snow White and Ariel but sometimes there are different ones. If you search on here i believe there's a post with teh full menu and more explanations, better than mine! Hope this helps!

I went for dinner with my husband, brother, and his gf and we had TONS of interaction with the princesses! So with that said, I think you would get more attention having your little one with you!

As far as food goes, very average. Remember, you're pretty much paying for the character meets..

But it is a gorgeous restaurant and you will have lots of fun...

We were just there for dinner, and it was eh. The food was OK, but not great, and the princesses hardly paid any attention to my kids. It was pretty much "Hi Princess, oh look at your dress, can I sign your book? Smile for the camera, have a good dinner Princess!" That was it. DD had much more interaction with the princesses at PFF. I'm not sure we will do Ariel's again. Last year it was so much better, the princesses hung out and chatted for a minute or two, one even danced around with DD. This year was a major disappointment. Ariel was great, though.

glad to hear people enjoy it- we have booked it for when we go in June, and I know that my daughter will love it!

It's great, the food is the same on the dinner/lunch menus and it's very tasty. The Princesses are always wonderful with our girls, we have never been disappointed with any meal we've done at Ariel's Grotto. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. :)
