How is AKL bus service?

We are planning a June trip and wondered how convenient AKL bus service is. We will not have a car and will be depending on bus service. Thanks!

I personally liked the bus service at AKL (I love that resort I want to go back). You don't share a bus with the other hotels like some buses do. I think I have waited from 0-15 minutes for a bus. The bus goes straight to the parks and back.

Bus service for the AKL is fantastic. IMO Dedicated busses give the resort the gold medal for bus transportation. If you've ever taken a bus from DTD to BC, and stop at Swan, Dolphin, YC, it seems to take forever. Even with "dedicated" busses at the moderates, there are 5-7 stops inside the resort.

AK Lodge generally gets good bus service. It's also not typically as crowded as other resort busses.

A few things to note:

The Disney-MGM Studios bus also services Blizzard Beach when it is open. It will hit BB on both ways.

During 4pm-6pm, when DAK gets hit hard for thier exit, some Epcot/AK Lodge busses will swing in there to help with the load.
