I find it wicked funny that the 5 DISers that live the closest to my house here in NH I will spend more time with them in Orlando than New England between my January and March trips...go figure. I'm working out my new itinerary for FEB/MAR tonight....looks like I will have a couple nights wide open.

Lemme know what you end up with! We need to work each other into our plans...which sounds...odd.

And you're so right...we really do need to get on the NE DISMeet.

Well, we've been very fortunate and I'm a big fan of paying it forward. This was one of the best ways to do it. And, if I can't find anyone by the day of, I'm going to go to Guest Services in the MK and let them know and see if they can help.

Moving. Blah. The only fun part is unpacking on the other side and decorating the new space!

And the new place we're (hopefully) moving into is GORGEOUS. Smaller, but GORGEOUS.

Well, the leasing woman is supposed to call me Saturday with more info. but that was based on an 11/1 move-in date. I'll ask about 10/1 but if it's not available, given our plans/back-up plans, we'll still be fine. Then the application process begins. I can't imagine us having much trouble getting it. We shall see! Fingers crossed.

I have a question for all of you who have flown SW into Disney and used ME in the recent past.

I've been getting conflicting info. about how this is all going to go down. Here are the things I've bee told:

1. SW is now fully part of the ME program. I don't have to pick up my bags and can proceed right to ME.

2. SW is only partially part of the ME program. I have to pick up my bags and bring them with me to ME.

I also understand the ME return process may be different?

This is obviously my first time using ME. While I can (and probably will) call Disney to confirm, can anyone here get me in the loop? To be honest, either option works for me. I like the idea of having my luggage immediately if my room is ready as much as I do the idea of someone else lugging my bags around and having them magically appear in my room. I just want to know what is up ahead of time.

So my bags aren't circling the MCO baggage belt all by their lonesome.

Or so I'm not wasting time standing at the MCO baggage belt, jostling for a "good spot" only to have the ME people whisking my bags away behind the scenes.

BF has come a loooooong way with my being on the DIS. He used to tease me. Now he knows who people are whether I'm using their screenname or their real name. That's not to say HE'LL ever have an account but, you know, baby steps.

By the way, I LOVE cherry limeades from Sonic. Not that we have one around here. The closest one (and only one in our state) is over an hour away. But the commercials are on TV all the time. Golden Corral too. The closest (and only) one of those is 90 minutes away. Jerks.

Even if they don't, because you have those magical yellow tags on your luggage, ME will pick it up and deliver it to your room at the resort.

I've had no problems with Southwest. I'm really fuzzy on if I checked my baggage with Disney or if I did it at MCO in January. I just can't remember. Either way...I know I've had plenty of time with checking the luggage myself at MCO and having time to get to the gate.

I can't say enough good things about the Magical Express service...it truly is magical!
