How important are future resorts to you?

This is an interesting take! I feel it is quite close to Epcot, being the first stop on the Skyliner. 🤷‍♀️ Disney navigation even has it a faster trip than taking the monorail from Poly or GF to MK.
But it’s not close as the Epcot resorts. It’s close if it’s walkable.

How long does it take from park closure to get back to your room? - 10min 😉
Just because it has a skyliner does not mean it’s close to the park.

I read they will not run the Skyliner over water because if something happens it would be difficult to remove anyone stuck.
It runs over the lake between Pop and AoA. If you look around the shoreline, you’ll see a boat with a tower-like structure on it. The platform can be raised to the level of the Skyliner so they can evacuate guests, including those on scooters or wheelchairs.

I always make sure that I use the restroom before getting on the Skyliner. I fear getting stuck with full bladder more than a helicopter rescue over a murky Florida body of water.

But I digress.......
I think those emergency bags sealed up under the seats have a pee bag in them, but I fully agree with you - board the Skyliner with an empty bladder!

Yeah, I didn't even know this was a thing. 🤷🏻‍♀️View attachment 918645
We bought these for camping, just kind of a joke for all the girls one year. They ended up being a hit! The bathrooms are almost 5 minute walk - not bad during the day but at night? All of us put up a privacy sheets at our campsites for night ‘duty’. This contraption meant no squatting and much cleaner than we anticipated. Since then we all still use them.
