How have you voted in past Presidental elections?

I voted for Anderson in 80 also. We must have been the only two

LOL! That's probably a good thing in retrospect. I kind of doubt Anderson would been a particularly good president in hindsight.

Wow, what is with some people????

1992: Bush
1996: Dole
2000: Bush
2004: Bush

1996- Dole
2000- Bush
2004- Bush

Use this information anyway you see fit;)

Who was the 3rd party candidate in 1976? Does anybody remember? My Mom voted for somebody really off the wall (for her, she's an Eisenhower Republican)

Pre-age 18, I wanted to vote for:

84 Mondale (yeah, yeah, I know, I was only 8...)
88 Dukakas (sp) (yeah, again, I was only 12)
92 Clinton...got this one right!

Post age 18 I did vote for:
96 Clinton
00 Gore (although, if McCain had ben the Rep nominee, I'd have voted for him!)

...and plan on voting for Kerry, unless he says something at the convention I don't like or other negative revelations come out, like he eats babies for breakfast. If that happened, I'd not vote at all, as I'd eat dog poop before voting for Bush.

And I agree, if you don't like the question, don't answer it. No need to jump all over the OP!

Clinton in 1992- some sort of induced haze or something, Dole 1996, Bush 2000 and probably Bush in 2004 unless he has his way with some intern, oh wait, sorry that was Clinton! I want to defend further my voting of Slick Willie, I was annoyed at Bush Sr for not getting rid of Saddam, which I know he has said was not the objective, but I was none the less. I was also 18 years niave!

Palmtree Girl are you planning on coming here to overthrow my messy house?

1976 Included Eugene McCarthy (displaced Democrat), Lyndon LaRouche (Wacko Libertarian), Gus Hall (Communist), Ben Burbor (Prohibition Party) and Lester Maddux (Independent).

a) This is America and my vote is private

b) Just what do you hope to gain with this information?

Then why post? I don't think the op made this thread mandatory..
But, to be truthful, I think the op is going to turn this information over to the government for further review and investigation....

I'm a party girl. Born and raised a Democrat, and have voted accordingly.

Same here... It's much more efficient when you just check that D box at the top of the ballot...:D

1996 Clinton
2000 Gore
2004 Will vote for Kerry

I do not mind sharing that information - I wear my "beliefs" on my sleeve anyway :)

I agree with some former posters - if you don't feel comfortable sharing...hmmm...then don't! :D

Ditto on the voting and the sentiment. If your so paranoid folks then you really shouldn't be posting on the internet at all...really your info is not all that private...She didn't as for your social and dob. And it is your right to keep it private but it certainly isn't the law nor is it illegal to ask how individuals voted...just don't respond! AND a poll would never work...first year I could vote was 92 someone else it could be 72, 68 or 52....I mean come on...if you think it would be that easy to create such a poll to accomadate everyone...knock yourself out....in fact I double dog dare ya! But otherwise no need to respond...just hit the back button!

B) Are you serious? You got me, I'm actually secretly stock piling info about people that I will soon use in some sort of evil plan. Darn I was found out. ;)

Let me guess, Tom Ridge or John Ashcroft your boss by any chance?

That reminds me, I have to return that overdue library book on international terrorism before I end up on someone's list...

I see you finally "got it", and edited the word "poll" out of you thread heading. Thanks. Go to it folks.

Well it was/is a poll, it just isn't an anonymous one. But to avoid confusion and or debating on the meaning of the word poll I removed it from the title of the tread. ;)

I was wondering what she was talking about.... I hadn't seen the word "poll" in quite a while.
