How have you voted in past Presidental elections?

I'm a party girl. Born and raised a Democrat, and have voted accordingly.

a) This is America and my vote is private

b) Just what do you hope to gain with this information?

I don't mean to be rude but why are people getting so testy about this thread? If you don't want to respond then just move on to another thread. You have the right to keep your vote private and we have the right to make our vote known if we choose. It's an election year, people are curious. If you don't want to respond then don't.

I'll never forget voting in my first presidential election -- for Jimmy Carter. I was pretty excited!

a) Then don't answer (which it looks like you didn't)

b) I'm just guessing, but maybe she's just curious (just like people asking what they had for lunch today).

My first vote/campaign went to McGovern. Who ran against
Nixon the 2nd time - the time he committed a felony? Can't
remember, was it Humphrey? I voted for Carter twice -
Mondale-Dukakis-Clinton-Clinton-Gore. I think the presidential
ballot is the only one I've voted straight democrat. Oh yeah-governor and senator too. I've voted for republican congress
people then they betrayed their constituents and voted with
their party instead of us and so we booted them out. I've voted
for Republican mayors, judges, councilpeople, school board and
so forth when they were the best choice. The rest was an f.y.i.
so you wouldn't think I was a thoughtless voter. Interesting thread and why does anyone feel the need to say NOYB?
Just close the thread and move on instead of being such a
negative poster,eh? It was just a friendly little post.

1984: Reagan
1988: Dukakis
1992: Clinton
1996: Clinton
2000: Gore
2004: See below!

a) Wasn't this already covered earlier in the thread?

B) Are you serious? You got me, I'm actually secretly stock piling info about people that I will soon use in some sort of evil plan. Darn I was found out. ;)

It was a question, just a question, if you don''t want to answer don't. I couldn't care less either way. This is so strange to me it's like I've stepped into the Twlight Zone- The Dis boards.

Well, now I'm going to answer because of the pissy people who are so paranoid. If some people want to add me to their ignore lists because of the way I voted in past elections, so be it.

Just don't answer if you don't want to. Jeez.

I voted Democratic in every election I've voted in, not because i vote the party line, but because the party line agrees with my priorities. If there were a Republican who fit my needs better, I'd vote for him or her.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the question or any harm in answering it. I'm sure most people's answers won't surprise anybody anyway. For me it was:

76- Ford
80- Anderson
84- Reagan
88- Bush 41
92- Bush 41
96- Dole
00- Bush 43

Wasn't McGovern the second time? Humphrey the first? Oooooh, I'm getting old and I can't remember.

twins.............er at least we voted the same in each presidential election and it appears we'll do it again in 2004!

Galahad;

I voted for Anderson in 80 also. We must have been the only two

My voting has been:
1992 Clinton
1996 Clinton
2000 Gore
2004 Will vote for Kerry

I do not mind sharing that information - I wear my "beliefs" on my sleeve anyway :)

I agree with some former posters - if you don't feel comfortable sharing...hmmm...then don't! :D
