How have you Disney-ified your home? (souveniers thread)

By the catalog, I mean the website that used to be connected to the Disney catalog that came in the mail (as opposed to the current website that seems to be connected more to the store). I was a CM at our local Disney Store and we would get our discount at the catalog website. It also used to have an "outlet" section. Used to get some really great buys there. They do seem to be improving the current site with the availability of Park merchandise and some collectibles.

We have Disney stuff all over the house.

Actually we just stayed at Kidani Village in early June and because we enjoyed it so much we are putting together a Animal Kingdom/Africa wall together in dining room right now.

We have a couple of Jim Shore's: the one with the two Donalds on each side of the mirror, one in B&W and one in color and Donald and Daisy standing under the mistletoe. We have a collection of some stuffed animals, pins, mouse ears, etc.

The thing that I'm most proud of (and we haven't done it yet) is the Limited Edition Rapunzel Wedding Dress that my DH bought me to go up in my craft room after we paint it purple. That is the one thing I may be the most excited about.

Of course we have!

Tree full of ornaments- about 20 different ones all from WDW or DLP.
"While Beauty Sleeps" painting- (waiting on DH to buy the other 4 in the series)
Jack Skeleton Big Figure
Various figurines for the fireplace
Various snowglobes (most still in boxes until the cats quit breaking my stuff)
Donald Duck poster Villians framed posters in movie room
Pinocchio cell framed in son's room
Stuffed figures and piggybanks in DS's room
Screensavers
Precious Moments figurines and snowglobes for my DDs

But my favorite thing of all- it's not even out of the box- is my Maleficent Big Figure- it came from DLP because they only had the prototype here and I wanted it so badly when I saw it at DLP I could've kicked myself for not buying the prototype when I had the chance because it was so darn $$$ in France. My DH paid someone to go and buy it and ship it here. I love it- it's the coolest piece I own.

THEN we decided to go back to France, poor guy!

I have a shelf full of Mr. Potato Heads (some Disney but Kiss, Ozzy, Three Stooges, Elvis sit among the Star Wars ones and Spud Lightyear)

And in the den in some very nice wicker baskets there are over 500 Mr. Potato Head parts and a dozen or so Tater bodies. My family likes to joke about the bodies I keep under the coffee table. I stuff a box full of parts at Once Upon a Toy on every trip. I used to keep them in the bathroom as a joke but 1. they have outgrown the space and 2. while it was amusing to see what guests built in the bathroom it always bothered me a bit. I felt like I should lysol them regularly so I moved them. My nephews love to pull them all out.

LOOOOVE my KISS Potato Heads! Where did you get the Elvis one? On the Elvis website?

It was a Christmas gift but knowing the giver I'd look on Ebay. He finds unique Mr. Potato Head stuff on there for me all the time. He's my spud muffin. :lovestruc

Omg i am loving all these pictures and rooms.. i will definately be taking some pictures of mine soon..
Our living room we have disney pics up, disney saying plaques and about 35 jim shore disney traditions figurines
In our kitchen i have mickey mouse stuff as well, towels, cookie jar, strainer, utensils, apron cups etc
In our bathroom its a mickey set
Our spare room is a playroom that has some puzzles (the ones where there is a scene in each piece) finished, glued and hanging on the walls. I also have 2 pictures my mom cross stitched of mickey and friends.
our tree and christmas decorations are mostly disney and i collect snow globes

Well, I don't think anyone can compete with Robo. :lmao:

I wouldn't say that. :goodvibes I think it is all in quality, not quantity. A tastefully decorated room with a layout that is eye-catching is much better than a room with a lot of stuff thrown together in it....everything gets lost. You know that old saying, "less is more". I have to agree with that. I have seen some simple rooms that look amazing and remind me of the art shoppes in WDW.

Christmas at my house might be a little overkill. Here are some pictures taken during the decorating process. Much of this is unfinished, but you get the general idea.

The table is set with 4 of the Fab 5.

I have more I wanted to add, but Photobucket is being naughty AGAIN.

I bought a shield mirror that was in one of the rooms at the Polynesian and a waste basket from Animal Kingdom Lodge; I use it as a plant container. The mirror looks gorgeous in my extra bedroom I did in the style of Animal Kingdom Lodge.

This trip I got Delicious Disney book, so every meal from this book will be a little Disney reminder. I have other cooking books from Epcot, towels, toys and some silver jewerly, I added Mickey charm to my bracelet this trip, love it!
