How have you Disney-ified your home? (souveniers thread)

I think the question is how have I not Disneyfied our home :lmao:. I actually just redecorated the whole house from top to bottom (actually still in progress I want to find things I love). Guest bedroom is Alice in wonderland. Everything has subtle touches, the room is painted light blue (alice dress color). I have keys and a door knob hanging on one wall. I also have so Alice paintings. I still need to find a lamp for the nightstand and some other stuff. The paint looks grey in the picture, but it is light blue.

I decided our room will be themed after happily every after so a little bit of each princess I haven't really started yet, except for the light fixture.

Our living room has an UP theme.
Our dinning room has thomas kinkade canvas on the wall.

We have all 12 but not all 12 are on the same wall.

I have many magnets and disney kitchen utensils in our kitchen.
My desk area looks like this

This is in our spare bedroom that the dogs and cats have taken over.

And in Christmas

This are our old chairs and table it all has change. All the ornaments in this house are Disney themed except for 3 (they are in the wreath). Outside I have a mickey welcome stone and a pluto. And during Christmas I have a mickey wreath (pictured and one on the door), mickey outdoor ornaments that I have DH made because I couldn't find any .

I still have a lot of painting to do and I am still looking for pieces for all the rooms. I want to find the perfect things. Once everything is finish I'll be back ;). Of course I have Disney Halloween decorations and almost every other holiday. I love jim shores collection. I switch them when its time for the new holiday.

I've had alot of fun looking at everyone's Disneyfied houses!
We're really slacking -- all we have is an EPCOT F&WF poster in our kitchen that we got many years ago.

I have some stuff in my house, but I once painted a tinkerbell on my global history classroom wall when I was in high school, I wish I still had a picture of it, I was so proud! :)

We have disneyfied our home by not getting a new kitchen floors and new cabinets...so we can go to Disneyworld instead

:rotfl:

That's about our speed. :thumbsup2

We do have a few things I've picked up here and there, but I think I need to get a bit more systematic about what I buy. Last time my sister was here, she finally asked, "Since when have you been a big Tinkerbell fan?" I said, "I'm more of a Disney fan. What makes you think I'm into Tinkerbell?"

"Well, that's the second Tinkerbell cup I've seen you use, you've got a bunch of pins with Tinkerbell, and you're wearing a Tinkerbell shirt." :tinker:

Maybe I'm more of a Tinkerbell fan than I thought. :rolleyes1

We have some Disney Princess Snow Globals that BF gave me when we first started dating some Snow White themed drawings from WDW (Snow White, Hag, Grumpy), some stuffed animals on top of the couch and 2 cels (Cinderella and Snow White).

We also have the Mickey Measuring cup and spoon sets... and I believe every mug we own is a Disney mug (and we have quite a few!!).

I haven't yet but next april I am replacing my old kitchen, the new one will have all sorts of mickey stuff, plates, bowls, knifes and forks kitchen utensils everything will be mickey stuff.

I love everything that you have done so far to your home, and I really like what you are planning on doing to (I love subtle touches like the ones you did especially the Alice in Wonderland room). I do want to ask about your Mickey Christmas wreath, I have bought ornaments and such to make my own Disney Christmas wreath, but was originally thinking of just placing them on a regular round one, however I love the Mickey head wreath that you have hanging....did you buy that Mickey wreath and then just decorated it yourself, or did you make the wreath?

Oh boy, compared to most of you, I go nothin! :confused3:rotfl2: A couple of Disney coffee mugs, a set of beautiful Mickey (Minnie?) ears and some Christmas ornaments.

We decided to do our daughter's nursery in a classic Mickey Mouse theme. Of course, not much is sold for nurseries in the classic red/white/black/yellow scheme so a lot of things in the room were handmade.

I also have to give credit to DIS poster LittleMissMagic (see post #9 in this thread) for the MM hands/pants/head/shoe frame idea. I couldn't find the plates she used in her room, but they did have silicone cutting mats in those shapes. I just lined the back of the cutting boards with white scrapbook paper using mod podge to make them opaque.

The second picture is a closeup of the subway art I made with black canvas and my cricut. There's one canvas each for WDW, DL, and Disney Movies - then they're filled with our favorites in each!
