*Oh crud, I meant to post this on the resort boards....sorry*

We originally had Aug 13 - 19 (2 rooms at Pop w/ dining)

Last night got a "Ding" but could only get Aug 14 - 20

This morning I changed our reservations to Aug 13 - 20 (added the one night)

HOPING to get the 13th airfare, but if I can't and stay with the
14th - 20th....it will be easy to drop the 13th right?

Just wondering if I should drop it now.....is it easier to drop a night or add a night? (Sorry if none of this makes sense)

Thanks!

I would keep the 13th - 20th and then drop the 13th if you need to, so you don't end up like us -- we just decided to add a day, and found out that we can't get the free dining pkg for the last night; we're still staying -- room-only was avail. (whew, since I changed our flights 1st), but not getting free food for the last night. Adding depends on availability (and since you're going in summer, that will be tight), but you can always drop.... Just keep an eye on the calendar and make sure you do it by your 45th day prior, which only gives you a couple of weeks.

Enjoy!

As I understand it, after the 45 day window closes, there's a fee ($50?) to change your package reservation. Disney usually, if not always, waives the fee if your change results in a more expensive package, but not if it results in a less expensive package (which yours would be, since you're dropping a day).

Hope that Ding comes through for you!
