My husband and I got 1 day per park tickets, andI was able to get a reservation for 'Dining with an Imagineer' at HBD, but not on the day we're going to Hollywood Studios. I know the number of reservations to that is very limited, but should I keep holding out that we'll manage to get a reservation on the day we wanted?

Ehhhhh...it depends. We are going in November and I know that they released some additional reservations for it in July. So I believe that sometimes they hold some back and with some opening right at the 180 mark (when I booked mine!). I think that there is a slim chance of grabbing a reservation that someone else dropped though just cause of the limited availability of the lunch!

Maybe they will release additional spots for your date?!?

Those are hard to get even at your 180 mark. You are extremely lucky that you got one. Keep trying, but I don't think your chances are very good. We have not been able to get one at all. You could add hoppers to your park tickets if you don't want to rearrange your schedule. I've heard that lunch takes a good 2 hours or a little over.

I appreciate the honestly. I was able to find one for 1 on the day I wanted, and I'm holding out to get the second reservation I need. Otherwise, I just have to go DHS on a different day because I was able to get two ADRs for that day.

We just got 2 spots for 10/19... Just flipping thru looking at stuff, stumbled upon it, and it had 2 openings!!! WOOHOO>.. cant wait.

Relatively difficult. I think it is limited to 12 guests and you'd have to catch a cancellation if it's already full.

Yea, my search for a second reservation on the day I want has been fruitless. I've been able to get two reservations for a different day, so I'll just have to switch up my schedule and fastpass+ reservations. Thanks for your help!

Update: I was ready to give up, but I found two ressies for the day I wanted!! Will be cancelling the reservation for dining with an imagineer on the day i didn't want, in the october cancellation boards, if anyone is lurking!!!!
