How hard is it to get a 2 bedroom villa at Boardwalk Villas at Christmas?

We are DVC but Boardwalk is not our home resort so wondering how hard it is to get a reservation for the week (8-10 days) between Christmas and New Years at the 7-month opening for non-home resort members. any ideas??

In our experience, extremely difficult.

Extremely. That is near the end of DVC high season, and a popular week. BWV is a small resort. All 2BR units at BWV are lock-off units, meaning that when the studios are booked, there are no 2BRs.

At 7 months for those dates, getting a 1BR is possible. A 2BR is not realistic. You can try to play the wait list game, but I would book home resort at 11 months and be prepared to stay there.
