We cruised to Nassau a couple of years ago and took a cab over to the public beach by the Atlantis and had a wonderful beach day. This time we are thinking about booking a room for the day at the Atlantis or Comfort Suites for this April. We have a 10 dd and 13dd wondering if it is really worth $200 dollars to be able to use the pools, facilities, for the day? Has anyone tried to bring a soft sided cooler with them to the Atlantis or would we need to order drinks/food from their snack bar? Any reviews/advise would be wonderful!!

from all that i can see the slides and water attractions look fabulous. A friend and I have a room at the Atlantis in October for our cruise.

I haven't seen anything about taking coolers there, but I would be interested in the answer to that question as well. We found out that it was only a little difference in cost from comfort suites. My dear friend is insisting on paying for the room, so I am not exactly sure what the cost difference was, but she said it wasn't that much - something like $30 or so...

We traveled last December and purchased a room at the Comfort Inn for the purpose of the Pools/Slides.

My two DD's still talk of the slides...the bottom part of the slides go through a glassed tunnel with sharks in the tank! They loved it and it was one of the highlights of the trip.

In December we paid $125 for a room, but I am sure that is an off season rate.
