How good are the Osborne Lights?

Guess what guys?!? Hot off the presses.... I just read today, (not sure where or which article), they are moving to Disney Springs next year. A lot of folks believed they might go to Epcot, but evidently they are going to be set up at Disney Springs! Cool, huh?

I cannot even imagine the crowds that this would create. Merciful heavens.

Dear lord, that will make it unbearable. It's bad enough with people having to have a ticket to the park, but put it at DTD/DS and it's going to be horrendous.

Which is why I would guess it's less likely that is what they'll do with them.
I'll never say never but I will say I would be surprised.
Epcot would not surprise me.
And as much as I'd hate to loose them in FL they'd work well at DCA too

I agree. Epcot has got plenty of space and they'd fit in just fine in Future World, since it's not exactly real "future" nowadays. I'd hate to lose them all together, but yes DCA would work too.

HOPE you get to see them!:thumbsup2 We saw them last December and Osborne Lights and Candlelight Processional were truly the highlights of our trip!::yes:::santa:

So I have been to Disney many many many times, but I have never been over the holidays. I have wanted to the past few years to book a trip in December in order to see the Osborne lights but I never have done so. With this being the last year of the lights I really feel like I need to book a trip between christmas and new years (oh the crowds) specifically to see them before they go away forever. Are the lights really that spectacular or is it something that is more hype and doesn't really deliver

I have seen many light displays. I would say this beats the drive through versions that may be in a local park at home.

We just saw it tonight and we were still amazed despite seeing it last year and in other years a while back.

Now--what I can't answer is if it is so wow that I would book a vacation just to see it. But having seen it before and this being be last year, I would certainly consider it. Which is why we came tonight.

Saw it for the first time last year. I am not a big Christmas lights guy...but this was well worth the visit.
